Hey, I am doing much better. I am back at work and my energy level is above normal..yay for that. I am having issues eating. I can't tolerate any type of meat for some reason. I have tried tofu...but I am not crazy about the texture. My dietitian keeps telling me that it things will get better. Guess I will have to wait and see.
    So, how are you doing?

I bet it was cool to see everyone looking good...and much smaller. It amazes me how different I look, and it has been less than a month. I can't imagine what I will look like in 6 months. I love looking at the before and after pics on here it is so amazing. I haven't been to my first pre-op support group, but I do go tomorrow. I have an appointment with the dietitian, and it is right before the meeting. I think that was planned that way so we could stay for the meeting. I will be moving up to pureed foods tomorrow. I am still not hungry so I am alright just eating the soup and cottage cheese, but I guess once I get some regular food maybe I will build up some energy. I am feeling much better. I will be going back to work in 2 weeks..ughh. I dread it in a way, but it is also going to be good to get my life back to normal. I am glad you are back on here.

I am glad you are back and doing well. I had my appointment this morning, and he had taken me off of my b/p meds on Friday. My b/p was fine today so I don't have to take my meds anymore unless it goes back up. I just have to keep a check on it everyday. I am still really exhausted and he thinks it is just from having the surgery and the lack of foods that my body is use to. He just said it would take time for my body to adjust. So, I will have to wait and see. I have lost a good amount of weight...so that is the cool part

Hey, I am glad you are back I was wondering where you were. I had my surgery on Aug. 19th, and have felt like crap ever since. I am having issues with my blood pressure. I was taking b/p meds before surgery, now my b/p is low, and drops very low when I stand up. As long as I am sitting or lying down it is fine. I stand up and I get dizzy and almost pass out. I have a doc appt on Thursday, and they are going to try to get me in earlier to see what is going on with me. I am just upset that other people that had surgery around the same time is able to walk and some have even gone back to work. I am still having to have someone help me take a shower, because I just get so dizzy and light headed that I don't want to pass out in there. I am just so freaking bummmed
