Hello, my name is Eric and i live in California. I finally decided i need to do something realistic about my wieght and i am going forward with researching on getting the lap band procedure done. My sister and 2 of my cousins had it done but in Mexico. First of all i don't have 7,000.00 to spend and 2nd of all i'm scared to go have it done there. I have PacifiCare Signature Value insurance through work. I'm 5'4' and wiegh 250. I'm 35 and have been overwieght pretty much all my life, my dad is a diabetic and both my grandparents were too. How do i get started with getting my insurance to approve for the procedure and what steps do i take? I read in one of your posts that you have alot of information as far as PacifiCare so thats why i'm asking you. Sorry for any inconveniece and i would really apprciate any help...
