    Hmmm, I was thinking it would be good with linguesa, but that might be too fatty for a post-opper. Again, thanks for the recipe!

    On my bean soup I definitely cook up the sausage first. I'll add it when I've got it in that last hour of simmer stage, to release the flavor and make it SUPER soft Sometimes I'll even cook a half-cup of pasta and throw some little shells in there to change it up. My kiddo likes it with pasta. But don't put pasta in it and store it! The pasta soaks up the juices Glad you saw the recipe, I LOVE soups now, when I'm craving the need to eat a lot
