    Aww youre very welcome!
Wow it seems like forever since I've been on here. Its been a month so Im thinking you probably have had your surgery already!
I hope so and i hope it went well and youre handling it well. Like I said I think we worry ourselves more before it and afterwards its not as bad as we had thought it would be.
Keep me updated on how you are and your weight loss!
    Good Luck and best wishes!

I struggled with protein drinks. All of them were gross to me. I still havent met a protein drink that I liked. I made protein sugar free jello with 2 42g bullets of fruit flavored protein instead of cold water. I would ask your Dr., nurse or nutrionist though for the best advice.

Here are a few tips and advice:
    - Dont worry, the surgery will be fine & you will not feel much pain afterwards.
    - If youre taking alot of the morphine & find that youre throwing up alot, its most likely the morphine so try to stop taking it! I had that problem & as soon as i stopped the morphine i stopped throwing it up.
    - Try to walk as much as you can when you get out until you lose all your weight.
    - Take your vitamins & protein shakes as soon as your stomach will allow! I took the vitamins right away but the protein shakes i couldnt hold right away because of the obstruction.
    - Most people lose hair 4-5 months after the procedure, take biotin vitamins for hair & take in as much protein as your stomach will allow.
    - And after losing so much weight sometimes skin sags or hangs, I've heard the best exercise for that is swimming!
Other then that I wish you the best, sorry this was so long lol but i hope i was able to provide you with some beneficial information. Good luck!

I had my surgery on March 25th of this year and I had lost 17 lbs already by the time i was released from the hospital. So far its been 4 months and im down 70 lbs. I feel alot better im eatting better. For along time I couldnt eat much and I still cant but I am having more solid foods now. I've been a vegetarian because my stomach wouldnt tolerate any meats or much milk products or eggs. But im slowly started to take some of that in now and getting my protein. Everyone is different so u may not experience that.

Hey! Thats great, Congradulations! You got a date right away! I got a date within 3 months but my date was cancelled twice on me and they notified me literally the day before my surgery. Not sure if thats happened to many people but it happened to afew others in the hospital I went to. Just wanted you to be aware that it could happen, but i hope not for you!
You know I think you have nothing at all to worry about. I know everyone gets nervous about having this surgery or any kind of surgery but I think the worst part is all the nervousness and worrying before. I was knocked out right away and when i woke up i was in alitle discomfort naturally but not any bad pain at all. And i pretty much slept the whole time i was there. I did at first have a obstruction where they closed my pouch alittle too tight, even for water.. and so i couldnt keep anything down the next day. But I was fine and walking and shopping again right after that.
