Hi Paul!
It is real good to hear that you are well and enjoying your new "skinny" life. It sounds like you have been real, real busy. Your Aunt is lucky to have a nephew like you who loves her enough to take such good care of her and show her beautiful places and to even spend time with.
I have been doing quite well myself. It has been about 10 weeks now since surgery and I have already lost 65 lbs.! Amazing! Have gone from size 26-28 to 18-20's and I can even see changes in my body. I can walk without a cane, no insulin shots anymore, and have been walking 1.5 miles in 30 minutes or less.
My oldest son and family came to visit and I was able to play with our grandson who is 2 with alot more ease and significantly less pain in my knees. I had a wonderful time with him. I even lost 4 lbs. in the 4 days they were here!
Life is real good Paul and just to think, it will only get better as time passes.

It has been awhile since coming onto the site here. Thank you for continuing to participate and for sending me messages, I appreciate it. Life keeps me busy. We were on vacation in August during my Birthday visiting friends in the south of France and then went on to visit Sitges and Barcelona Spain, it was all wonderful. I have traveled to Napoli(Naples) a couple time by train(6 hours from Carrara) and yesterday took my Aunt to the airport in Pisa so she could fly back to Oregon, we kept her very busy and at 80 she kept up pretty well. We took her to see Venice, Cinque Terre, Pisa, walked around our city of Carrara almost daily and visited other local smaller villages as well as alot of shopping. It was great to have her with us and a little sad to see her go.
I started school yesterday to continue my Italian education and immersion into the culture and language.
All continues to go well with my new body and life, I am scheduled for additional plastic surgery at the end of Feb or start of March to take away more of the excess skin that is remaining, after the loss of 275lbs and being big for so long the skin just wont tighten up in areas of my abdomin, upper thighs etc.....

Thank You Olga, today is a day that I miss not being in the USA for, I love the gatherings for BBQ's or getting away for a camp out and of coarse the wonderful fireworks displays. August 16 here is Ferragosto and after a day that most people either picnic on the beaches or in the mountains, there are firework displays on the beaches of the Mediterranean and Adriatics Seas all over Italy, but it isn't the same as the 4th of July.......

Hi Olga, thanks for asking to join my friends, and I am happy to have you ask and have accepted. So you know today we returned home to Italy from our 22 days in the states. It was wonderful and fast as most vacations are.
I am really happy to hear your great news about the 21st of July and I can only imagine that the time will go by very quickly.
I will be posting more info about my trip in the next few days under Socialize and also probably place a new photo album.
