Ciao Andie, thanks so much for staying touch with me. I have been pretty busy this summer with enjoying the life here in Italy and the warm summer weather especially the beach here in Carrara and swimming in the Med. Sea. We have vacationed in the USA, France and Spain and just finished with 16 days of having my Aunt of 80 from Oregon with us, as I took her to the airport in Pisa yesterday to fly home. We took her around Italy(Pisa, Venice, Cinque Terre, she became aquainted with my partners family as she stayed at their home while she was here(neither she nor my partners parents spoke the other language) lots of gesturing......
Shopping was a big item as well as walking in our city of Carrara and getting to see the surrounding areas.
I started school again yesterday to continue with my Italian education.
All continues to go very well with my new life and transformation, I am maintaining at my desired weight of 180-183 and will have more plastic surgery after the cruise with the people from the forum in December in February 2009 to take away more of the skin that wont tighten, on my stomach and mid area, upper thighs and pubic area.
I hope you are well Andie and thank you for staying in touch.
Hugs to you.

Hi Friends,
My one year anniversary is coming up on May 18 and I have just added a new album under my profile pebitpeb, "My Journey". I have photos taken over the past 5 years of my life and if you click on any photo there is a caption attached.
It is hard to believe that only one year ago I was preparring to go into a hospital in Pisa, Italy and receive an operation that would give me a wonderful new life. Getting the surgery had become something that I had given up on when still living in the USA, however when I moved to Italy 2 years ago, it became attainable. Who would have ever thought living in Italy and having gastric bypass, abdominoplasty and getting my hip replaced all in 1year. It really is appropriate though as moving to Italy, new language, new culture, new experiences, new person and a terrific new life.
I give thanks for the support I have received here and look forward to continuing this journey as part of this great TT family.
Paul

You were added to my list today. Thanks for asking. I think it is great that they added these sections to the forum, makes it a bit more private and personal for some messages.
Take good care Andrea.
