Oh what a joy-filled message you share of your adventures in town! And only thirteen pounds away from your goal weight! That's great, Paul! I loved hearing you tell of your walk and the chats you've had with folk....The tone of your words is so marvelously hopeful and joyous! In fact, I think I was most happy just to hear that you've tied your shoelaces so easily! What a wonderfully uplifting tale...and how much good cheer you gave so many others in the marketplace and where you worked! God bless you, dear Paul!

Hi Paul - I was reading, and could ID some of the phrases (although not word for word) due to my knowledge of Spanish - sentences in Spanish are also opposite of English, and nouns take on gender. The gender thing is alive in Italian also, no? **sigh** Your Italian sounded so romantic when I read it and then I read the English. Yuck - why is English so dreadfully boring unless read with a true English accent?

I am excited for whatever cruise is decided upon - just want to see all my TT peeps and get some mid winter sun

Oh WOW Paul - thank you so much for the update!

Your message reminded me of "the old days" when we use to send letters to our friends, in far off places, with an update - yes I can remember those days ;-)

Thanks Paul and keep them coming

Hope to speak to you for real one of these days :-)

    Hugs and kisses

Okay, do I repeat myself much or is it that I just say the same things more than once? lol

Glad to hear things are going well for you. I will keep in touch through this whole process. Support group meets on the 17th of May, so I'm going to go to that. Then, my consult will only be a couple of weeks away! Woot! (April 2) I'm glad I don't have my initial consult on April Fools Day. That would be twisted. lol

You must message me in Italian, and in the same message translate to English...how in the world am I going to sweet talk Bernardo on the cruise if he can't understand me?

Well, that sounds like all's going fairly well, Paul. Bravo to you and your caregivers! Please know that I am thinking about you and continue to wish you the very best during your recovery!
Ciao! (and say "Hi" to Bernardo too!)

    Paul,
So glad to hear you are doing well. Keep walking my friend and do those exercises. Don't drink during meals - 30 min before and 30 after. That was very hard for me, but I have beat it now. That will help you get your calories in and not wash the food through. Also - you did not mention your protein. Are you taking it, getting it in? Sandy and I are looking forward to cruising with you and Bernardo. Be well.

Yay I did it right! lol Yes, I am a cat lover. And a dog lover. Not allowed to have a dog where I live though.

I am marking the days until my consult. I'm going to go to the support group this coming Monday as suggested by the doc. I'm so excited about this whole process... Not looking forward to hell week, but am going to try to learn from y'all what can trigger it to be hell week... *crosses fingers*
