I made it through the lapband procedure, and am on day 9 of the post-op diet.

Yesterday I had an endoscopy and colonoscopy just to make sure I had no other medical issues before getting the lapband. My anesthesiologist nurse used to work for Dr. R. Pinnar and called him a genius in his field. That made me feel good. Along with the liquid diet, and the colon cleanout with Osmoprep, I've lost 10 pounds in 5 days.
Last night I was sick to my stomach after getting into bed. I had taken my regular prescriptions like I do at night...but they didn't stay down....

Eeek! Today is day one of the liquid diet. It's hard! I get the lapband on Friday 8/22.
