Eric, it's good to hear from you! I feel fantastic - thank you for asking!

Hey Brotha, how you been feeling? Yes, I am feeling good, I have hired a trainer and things are going great. Amazingly I live in tiny Bamberg Germany and on my base there exists a Trainer who is writing his Masters Thesis on Exercise and Bariatric surgery, that is finding the proverbial needle in a haystack. Anyways he is talking about marketing his story to the Muscle and Fitness magazines and asked if he could use me in his story, the thought of me being in a fitness magazine, WOW. Anyways how's life?

Eric, I'm so happy for you - you look wonderful! If you feel even 1/10 as good as you look, then you must be feeling awesome!

Ok will do, it is amazing I am sure this stuff isn't new to you, but sometimes I get so down, but you'd think I would be so happy. Anyways a little about me, I have always been a large athlete, not a lot of talent but a whole lotta heart. That is how I compete, by not giving up. I just could never get the will power, and once I couldn't participate in athletics anymore well I couldn't work all the calories I would consume. I work out alot in the gym, but then I would always chase that with a king size double whopper meal. So no benefit. Anyways, (my favorite transitional word I ve noticed) so far the surgery has curbed the double whoppers! I just need to learn I don't need me permanently you know.

Eric, thank you for the message! I'm very much looking forward to learning more about your journey - you seem to be doing great post-op. Loved the pics in your album, especially the ones in front of Schloss - keep 'em coming!

From one Eric to another, I was just noticing your stats, besides the obvious were both Eric's and tall, I am just about 6 foot 6 our pre-op weights are real close, I don't know the highest weight I have ever been, but the 443 I weighed before surgery had to be down about 30- 40 pounds from where I was. Anyways I gotta say, you will soon be "half the man" you used to be! That is awesome! You are an inspiration to me, I hope to achieve the same one day!
