Good morning , so good to hear from you. Was wondering how you were doing. Wasn't this a strange ride? Although there is some pain, I think we are about to go onthe journey of our lives. Lets just hold on and see where it takes us.

Take care of yourself, take breaks when you can and do not try to overdo it next week when you're back in school with the kids. What grades do you teach ?

I will be returning in about another week, drs follow up is Friday and Im sure everything will be ok. What diet are you on now? I have another week of full liquids. My dr. requires 2 full weeks. I wanted to at least be on puree before returning. Less to have to explain to people who see me eating lunch and asking why Im not eating much more than that. How about telling people about your surgery? Do most people on your job know that you have had wls or how will you handle inquiring minds. Would love to know as this is a concern of mind once I return to work.

Hi -- I see you're a singer/vocal arts teacher. I will be interested to see how your voice changes as you lose weight. I am a classically trained contralto and had to re-learn how to place notes after I lost most of my weight (the first 80 pounds or so). My voice quality is very different, not as rich, but clearer and more pure. Plus the wobble I had begun to develop has disappeared with better abdominal muscle control. And, boy can I sustain notes now!

Sounds like your journey has begun well!

Ok, I'm down about 10 lbs in 2 weeks, and we have 4 days, girl! Wow! I can't wait to dance like nobody's watching and not care if everyone is watching! HA!
