I think I lost about 45 pounds in the first six weeks. What they don't tell anyone about is the dreaded 3rd to 4th week stall. I lost 40 pounds the first month and only 15 the second. That included a two week stall. Maybe you'll get lucky and skip right over.
Fun? Not quite yet. My pouch is healing so it won't tollerate anything cold or room temperature. It's a pain. I move on to purees in one week, and then do them for 6 weeks, then on to soft food. Had my two week post-op appt today and I'm down 24 pounds.
Hey, why don't you get better like soon, lose a lot of weight, and then maybe, just maybe, I'll invite you to come with me to Disneyland next year. The California Screamin' Rollercoaster is just too cool. I couldn't believe I fit on all the rides!
lol I actually can't get up from my right...it hurts too much. I can get up on my own on the left side I feel like a Truck Hot Wheel has hit me, so I hope that it stays that way. So far so good.
lol....you'll feel like a truck hit you for the next week or two. It gets better. Just try and get up from you right side so you're not straining your left-side camera port incision. Congrats..ya big loser!
