For the first several months, I measured or weighed everything I ate to train my brain. I didn't really start having the foamies or getting "sick" till I was past six months and not measuring anymore. And usually, it was just something not agreeing with me (too dry or too fatty) or eating too fast. But no, there's not really a point or a line between full and not full, so other than measuring, there's not really a trick, or not that I know of. A lot of people say the same thing you do. One minute you feel fine, one more bite and you're in pain. All I can recommend is measure. It worked well for me.
Yuck. I no longer like shrimp! I'm running out of food ideas. I can't tell when I'm full either. I throw up every day from eating too much. Is there a trick to this full feeling? I always take one too many bites, and then my chest hurts and up it comes. How do you stop it?
Sounds like you have the right plan, bump the proteins to break the stall. And you listed three of my favorite foods when I went to solids. We must be from the same planet!
I hit my stall! Still at a 40 pound loss. Didn't lose anything this week. I'm going to bump up the protein, upgrade the exercise, and I'm cleared for real food now! Can you say shrimp, Original Pollo Bowl with no rice, and a fried egg with cheese?!
I haven't been doing much exercise wise other than riding my Trikke every once and a while. That has to change starting yesterday though. My knees are trying to quit on me from not doing anything, and I think it will help me. I hadn't been doing much because I had felt so bad.
50 pounds? A walk in the park (that's old folk talk for easy). Sorry I missed you on Skype. You got on just moments after I got off. I was gonna say I thought you were dehydrating from stress, and I guess I would have been right. Not that my brilliance means anything now...
But 40 pounds, wow! Good going. Are you doing any exercise? I didn't do diddly for the first 6 weeks, other than a walk here and there. Weight came off just the same.
I ate that in my puree stage. Not a whole lot of chewing required. Not too sure if it's really beef though and was kind of afraid to actually find out.
