So, lately I've been feeling slightly down about myself again. There is a lot of stress in my life about the economy, my job, my company's future, money...you know how it is. I think that has contributed to me gaining a few pounds back. Nothing drastic, but I'm about 5-8 pounds up from where I was last fall...and it bugs me. I know what to do, and have already been back down 5 pounds easily...but then three came back. The other night, I had a nightmare about starting to get fat again. My jeans...

OMG, you guys, I am so relieved. I just realized again for the millionth time what a complete dork I am. I had been so depressed all morning because when I got dressed this morning my pants were just a bit tight. I was like,

Haven't updated in two months, which is a bummer. Though my weight hasn't changed much in that time, I have still been through a lot.
I worked like a maniac my last two weeks at my state job; staying late every night and nearly dropping with exhaustion. But I managed to finish up a lot of what I wanted to do, and think I left a good impression. It was very difficult emotionally to say good-bye. People were very nice for the most part, though there were quite a few guilt trips....

I got a new job!! Woo hoo! Man, the last week was a killer with having a job interview (which I woke up late and had to rush to), then on my way in to work from that interview getting the phone call that I got the other job I'd been waiting to hear about, then giving notice at my current job (and having to face a huge guilt-trip from my boss), then having to cancel a bunch of interviews and some of those jobs I had been very excited about possibly getting...but I made a choice. I am going back...

Wow, it's amazing how quickly I turned back to my "normal" eating habits. My tummy didn't like a lot of the junk food
I still don't dump, but boy was my pouch letting me know that it will let me go just so far...but no further. That's awesome! Also, during the work week (i.e. today), it was easy to get back into my eating schedule and bring those calories right back down. I actually am too low today, and have so far only had 1038 calories and 50g protein. That's 200 calories fewer...
