Oh my gosh, I know what you mean! Dr. Hahn was very blunt with me that if I showed up at my pre-op appointment having gained any weight that they would cancel me. So my pre-op was on a Friday with the surgery scheduled for Monday and at that appointment he told me that if I gained even a pound over the weekend that he might even cancel my surgery on the very day of it! So he put the fear into me, that's for sure! So I just kept being really strict with my diet over that last few weeks and through the weekend before surgery. I was 2 pounds under my goal weight at the pre-op appointment and then only had one bigger "last meal" on Saturday night before I went to all liquids on Sunday, as per Dr's orders. On the day of my surgery I weighed in at the same weight -- 2 pounds under goal. Whew!

ok, thanks, that really helps, i was just woriied that the surgery was going to be like 4-5 month out, my biggest concern was 'WAT IF I GAIN IT BACK'.lol..but i should be fine...thanks agian..and ill keep u posted...

Aw, thanks! You know how they make you do those phone calls in to the recorder to submit your current weight? Well, they had told me that if I got within 5 pounds of the goal they would call to schedule my surgery with the understanding that I'd lose the last 5 pounds before surgery day. Well, don't believe that! I called in to say I was within 5 pounds and waited but no one ever called me. So, when I finally DID call in to announce that I was at goal, I wasn't sure what to expect. But a week later they called me to schedule surgery! And they wanted me to have surgery like a week after that! But I was totally not ready (work stuff and just preparing mentally), so I requested the furthest out date they had (they schedule about a month or so at a time). So I think I got my call in the first week of August or so, and my surgery was September 24th. So, good luck, I know you can do it. Let me know if you have any more questions.
