Thanks so much for your response. Right now it's hard because my husband and my son still eat "regular food". Sometimes I'm tempted to taste it. (Not anything I can't have yet). It's just hard. I was such a junk food junkie. I want to develop a healthy relationship with food, and learn how to eat in moderation. I'm just anxious to get past the healing stage so that I can experiment with recipes and things! But you look so good! How long would you say it took you to lose your weight?

Hi how are you? My name is Danielle and I am almost 3 weeks post of RNY. I am just starting my journey. I saw your pictures and I am just blown away! YOU LOOK FABULOUS! My gosh! You don't even need Plastic surgery! I want to do exactly what you did! So what did you do? Did you do anything special? Do you have any advice for me? I love your tatoos also, I have a butterfly on my wrist, and flowers on my foot. I want more, but my husband not a big fan! If he didn't mind, I would have them everywhere. Danielle

We'll I had a wonderful chat with my boss today. It still feels weird to have these talks with him but it must be done. He has had some time to let this settle in and he looked on-line about it over the weekend and he said he will support my decision. I did explain to him the health benefits, that is my final goal thru this whole process. I also mentioned that part of my job I am involved in a non-profit organization where we lecture and lead walking programs for seniors with the focus on health and wellness. Hello, I am not the picture of health and wellness and I explained to him that I feel like a fraud! Anyway, it ended well and i told him that it was uncomfortable for me to have these conversations and i also understand where he is coming from. he is "old school" and this just seemed BIZARRE to him. Now i can only look forward, no more worries. I am thrilled fro you in your successes, do you have any special celebration plans for the one year anniversary?

Thanks for the comments on my blog. I was hoping the discussion would be brief and then done. So far fopr the last 3 days he has been pressuring me to post pone the surgery for 6 months so we can take care of this. he has even offered to pay for me to use his exclusive personal trainer, I told him i will use the trainer after my surgery. i am secure in my decision and nobody will stand in my way. I just hope it doesn't get wierd and then I have to turn into a bitch about his. You look amazing, how long ago was your surgery? Mine is 5 weeks from today and can't wait.
