I got pretty freaked before my surgery but it all was a non event. They didnt even tell me when they were administering the anesthesia so from intake to the recovery room was an absolute loss of my life! (thankfully!) Some folks come through with flying colors and feel normal within a few days. My process took a little longer-I got weak from being dehydrated and undernourished. Once I started to get some protein in, I started to feel better. Then there is the whole head game piece which I battled for a few weeks, being angry that I could not eat. Now I'm around 8 weeks out, still adjusting, but it is okay now. You'll do fine and I'll save a seat for ya. LEt us know how you are doing once you settle back in.

Hey, I just noticed your post on my thread about hair loss, sorry for the delay!!! I too have long straight hair and I have definitely lost some of it. I think keeping it long has helped it be less noticeable. I would say it started at about 6 mos and is pretty consistent every morning. I just recently got a supplement, but I can't recall the name until I get home tonight. I will let you know if that helps. Honestly, if my weight loss keeps up and I feel as good as I do, I don't give a HOOT about the hair loss, lol. Hope that helps and hope you are doing well :-)

Dr. Cirangle and Dr. Jossart are the same personality type. I have seen Dr. Cirangle be a bit harsher with people in the WLS seminar when he's giving the talk (they switch off). I think he felt one woman was asking too many questions and he cut her off a few times and was a bit dismissive. Didn't even let her get the question out. Dr. Jossart may be a bit kinder, but there's not a huge difference. Surgeon personality, definitely.

hey! Congratulations on your surgery. I had mine at Good Samaritan in San Jose. It has changed my life. Dr. Cirangle seems pretty cool. I go to their monthly WLS support groups here in the city and they switch off on hosting them.

    Good luck!!!!

I am very happy with my weight loss - there is no way I could have lost almost 85 lbs (!!!!) in 6 months without it. It's amazing.
