Glad your doing good!! Im doing good too ive lost a total of 32lbs now so im also really pleased! Im on pureed food at the mo so i can eat anything as long as its pureed yuck!! I can go on to soft food in a couple of weeks so im really looking forward to it!! What sort of things can you eat now?

29lbs thats fantastic!!! i have lost 30lbs so we both the same!! i dont seem to be having the problem that you are with food though, i can eat anything and everything as quick as i like!! not always the best thing though, have had a couple of dumps when i have pushed things to far!, i knew that hunny bunny was on here, thats how i found you, through your messages together so just though i would get in touch and see how your getting on!! barry and the kids ok?

Hi, i bet you can't wait to have some pasta!! (i'd love some right now lol) Im looking forward to getting to that bracket i stalled this week at 20.5 stone but im not worried as im starting swimming on friday so that'll be great!! I weigh on Mondays so i'll let you know if my stall is over!!

Hello Thank you for your nice comments, I have now lost over 9stone and I need some plastics to finish me off lol.

I am pleased with the outcome and yesterday was the first anniversary so hae a review later today for my final check up and to tell me if I need to loose more weight still. I am still 5lbs off my 10st target weight.

I am so pleased you are able to have your op on NHS I have had to pay for mine as I couldnt get it they said there was no funding..... yet I had 3 medical reasons to have it done.

Im doing ok so far ive also lost 25lbs but that includes my two week diet before surgery! I really am sick of liquids grrrrr i wish i could chew something!! Only 3 weeks left to go then im on full solids so im gonna push through and try not to cheat!

Glad your ok but like I was just saying to Vicci its gota be harder in the beginning eh ,,, till we get accustomed to this new life , diet, whole new routines !
And it sucks that some people dont put on an ounce and we have to go to EXTREMES .... eh

i'm doing ok, although i find that my weight loss is a lot slower than i was expecting - i'm losing about 2 - 3lbs a week, i though it would have been more than that at the beginning especially. i heard from becky and she seems to be the same as me, how's your weight loss, are you happy with it?

i must admit i have to do some sort of exercise, i walk the dog most days but i think that might not be enough.

i seem to be able to eat fairly big quantities of soft food, for instance i made shepherds pie for everyone today and i had a good breakfast plate size for myself with no problem! But yesterday i had eggs for breakfast and then at lunchtime i tried to have a slice of turkey breast with my lunch and i thought i was going to be sick because it seemed to be stuck halfway down!! i suppose the lesson is to limit my soft food portions and chew my food more.


anyway, let me know how things are going, it's great keeping up to date with you and the other girls.
