    Absolutely! I have to admit my avatar is actually an older picture of me when I was about 30 pounds thinner than I am now. I'm embarrassed to show my before pictures, but I will soon. I am feeling pretty good about myself, though. Can't wait to see where I'll be by next summer. I look at this as my metamorphosis. I'm a chrysalis right now.

    I've hit a stall, but I started up at Curves again and am hoping that will move things along. I have a workout buddy who has been out of town a lot but she's back to a normal schedule now. It's tough to motivate when she doesn't go, so now we hold each other accountable. I love going there because I know a lot of people now and love the owner. Like your new avatar. Keep up the good work!

    56! Wow, that's amazing. I'm only down 16 so far, and actually I think I gained a pound back today. I'm only 2 1/2 weeks out, so I'm not bummed about it. Are you exercising? My doc told me not to for a few more weeks, other than walk. I have been walking.

    Hi, Mary, when was your surgery. I see you were about the same weight as me. What is your height. How have things been going since your surgery. Just curious if you have had any regrets. I am still doing pre-op things and right now no surgery date is in sight. Im hoping maybe by March or April.

    Mary, 52 pounds gone! That's amazing! You have to post some new pix. I'm only down 12 and haven't lost anything in the past couple of days, even though I'm going to the toilet all the time LOL.

    I hit 46 lbs. today--I can't believe it--it is coming off so fast. Your surgery is 7 days from today--how are you doing? Getting excited? I know I have to get my pictures together and scan them into my computer--I will be 2 months out next week so I will have my pre-op pics, my first month and the most current.

I just received the surgery consutltation date and now it is getting real and exciting to me. I have been going through all the hoops since March--they are needed hoops but hoops nonethe less. Never blogged before so this is another new experience for me. Alot of news for me this year. It is my year of change. I changed jobs, going to change my weight and I am usually not a person to join groups or blogs but after reading some of the articles on this message board I was inspired to start!...
