Thanks, I actually was a size 18 in all of those pictures, so the pictures are kind of decieving, also i was 19/20 years old, but ive gained a ton, and am way over a size 18 now and cant even bring myself to put a picture of what i look like right now,
I havent had the surgery yet, I start the 6 month classes in october, so i think im looking at april for surgery. Im also getting the surgery done, because of my breast size, they since my weight is scattered i should try this before the breast reduction surgery, i have a lot of back problems, and also problems breathing. The pain has become unbearable, to the point where I cant even excersize because of the pain I deal with. However, im hoping to use this as a tool to get me back to being active. Thank you for all the wonderful words though : )

Where is Womack? I think we've been stationed there because it really rings a bell... You didn't have to go through tricare? Let's keep in touch - I'll add you to my prayer Beth

Hi lisa, your story is just like mine, i have prayed and prayed to know if this is what God wants me to do. then the other day my guardian angel called, she was a former pt of ours and had moved out of state. She wanted us to know she had moved and that she would have another dr follow up. then she said she had gastric bypass at Womack army hospital and that she was doing great...(open the door...walked in) she was a christian and so am I, she told me of everything she went through and that the same doctor that is doing my surgery did hers. she told me everything i need to do before and after the surgery. I believe that having been scared and now i feel ok with going on with the surgery. I know the Lord is watching our every move and if it were not the right thing to do he would let us know. I have started jumping through all the hoops that the Army and the Drs require before you have your surgery. It is a long process but they want to be sure YOU are sure and educated. so my surgery (if everything goes right) should be in January around my birthday.
Bless you and your family. keep in touch. I will pray that everything goes well for you.
