Hi Mumsy, I just realized that you had the same surgeon that I will be having. Lets see not real sure where I am at with this. I have met with dietician five times, had sleep study, going on Friday to have endoscopy, went to support group tonight which was Oct. 6, met surgeon, having my pre op or cardiac clearance on Oct. 15, and on Oct 21 meet with the neurologist to decide what to do with my obstructive sleep apnea. So I think I am pretty close at least I hope so. Any advice or anything I would appreciate it. It is great finding someone that had the surgery and the same surgeon.

Hi Mumsy, I see that we are about the same age and the same weight. I'm 57 and my weight is 254lbs. I look so forward to the day that my stats look close to yours (weight stats, anyway). I do not have a date yet as I am just getting started. Im going through "head" emotions right now and was wondering how did you handle all of this. Was your family supported. Did you talk to them about it right away or kinda waited for awhile. I know this is right for me and I want to have it done but I kinda wanted the support of my family. Right now, my two daughters are saying much. DH will support what ever decision I make.(he's a sweetie). Have a great day

I've been lurking, trying to catch up on TT myself. The move kept me AFK (away from keyboard)... then my back issues... Now I'm a bit lost! We can whine about back problems together... altho Mine is on the mend! Hope yours is too... GOOD POSTURE helps... and supportive HUGS!

Hi there! I just wanted to say what a great sense of humor you have and beautifult pics! My mom lived in Madison for 3 years before we dragged her back to Texas, lol! She loved it and still loves to hear you guys talk...lol
