Yes it's one day at a time. Try not to think about it much and focus on making a lifestyle change now. I am here to support you as much as I can. Have you evr tried optifast/medifast. I used both of these on my pre surgery diet and I loss alot of weight on both. Maybe you can start these now to get a head start.

Thanks so much! I am nervous about it getting approved... My boss's husband is trying to get GBS, and from what I was told by my boss the insurance company where I work will cover it, but my company itself has to approve the surgery... I am not going to let that discourage me. I am just going have to go for it and take it one day at a time, right?

Woohoo!! I am so happy for you. If you need anything just let me know. I will keep it real and give you all the facts. I must say that this is a FULL time job after you have surgery so nothing gets easier. I was close to 384 and now that I am finally under 300's, I am now shooting for 284 which will put me at being 100lbs down from my highest. This entire process is HARD work but it's worth every minute. I do not recall being in the 200's since high school. I have joined "dance your pounds away" class and got me a personal trainer. I have goals to reached and I am so determined to reach them. You can do it too and I am sooooo happy you decided to go through with it!!!! Good Luck!!!!

I am doing good thanks! I was going back and forth about the surgery for a while... But I decided to go for it! I am filling out the paper work to submit to my surgeon so I can go in for a consultation.
