wow! 4 1/2 months post op and you've dropped 78 lbs? that's wonderful! are you working out alot as well? i was walking about 1-3 miles for about a month or so, but work has been so hectic that I'm just exhausted once I'm out. I suppose I get a good workout there cuz I'm alwayd up and down. Doc still doesn't want be doing any abdominals until my next consult in October. Hopefully I can start after that cuz thats the area I'd really like to focus on the most. I'm about 3 months post op on the 23rd and I've dropped 48 lbs so far.....so it's going well. Anyhow, hope to hear from ya soon. Take care and keep up the good work!

I'm such a 'tard...I posted this response to you a couple of days ago, but I posted it to myself...lol

Thanks for your kinds words. I always teach my kids that my proudest days will come not when they learn something, but when they teach or help someone with what they've learned. It really does make this all worth it to me when I can inspire someone else. You've done a great job at this, and best of all, you do it with a smile and a laugh, in other words, you don't take yourself or this surgery so seriously. And that's what I appreciate about you the most. This isn't nuclear physics, it's just a tool to help us lose weight quickly, so we can get healthy enough to do it on our own. I have complete confidence in the short time I've known you that you will make this work, and stay committed to it for the rest of your life.

As to the 168..I have no idea where that's coming from. We men are bizarre, aren't we?

Like my new avatar? Kind of a distinguished young fellow, isn't he?

Ouch..losing hair, that's gotta be tough. I keep my hair short, always have since leaving the military, so I really don't notice if I'm losing any..lol. On the other hand, I'm pretty sure I'm not. It seems since I've been taking these testosterone shots, I have hair growing everywhere..

75lbs in 4 months is fantastic and you have every right to be proud. And you know I'm proud of you too. Have you set a new goal yet?

I had a great weekend. My son came home from San Diego and I smoked some ribs and chicken, and did a lot of swimming. Very relaxing after another stressful week.
