Went to Bodega Bay for the 4th of July weekend...so nice! But came back today to HOT weather! Argh! Prior to leaving I had what the doctor thinks is a "gall bladder attack"...sure hope it doesn't have to be removed!

    How was your weekend?

    Hi Monica Ann,

Thanks for stopping by.. No problem, don't worry about how long it might take you to contact me.. I had my 1 month check up on the 1st and I lost 26 lbs. That is in the normal range per my surgeon. I brisk walked 3 miles today for the first time and I feel great!! It seems as the days pass I feel more healthy as time passes. It is so weird to be walking so much and not out of breath.. I just put on my MP3 player and jam to the music as I walk.. The time flies by..

I did try an egg last week, but it was an egg drop soup that passed very easily and was totally satisfying.. Thank goodness. I was worried until I didn't get the uncomfy feeling... I am not too hot on hard boiled eggs so I haven't tried them yet...

I hope that you aren't over doing it at work!! Try to enjoy the 4th with your family and friends...
    You are a sweetheart...
    Loving Hugz,
    Tina...

    Hi Friends,

My one year anniversary is coming up on May 18 and I have just added a new album under my profile pebitpeb, "My Journey". I have photos taken over the past 5 years of my life and if you click on any photo there is a caption attached.

It is hard to believe that only one year ago I was preparring to go into a hospital in Pisa, Italy and receive an operation that would give me a wonderful new life. Getting the surgery had become something that I had given up on when still living in the USA, however when I moved to Italy 2 years ago, it became attainable. Who would have ever thought living in Italy and having gastric bypass, abdominoplasty and getting my hip replaced all in 1year. It really is appropriate though as moving to Italy, new language, new culture, new experiences, new person and a terrific new life.

I give thanks for the support I have received here and look forward to continuing this journey as part of this great TT family.

    Paul

Thanks! I haven't hit a plateau yet... but I think one of the easiest ways I get my protein in is those carnation instant breakfasts plus I made this awesome chicken salad and I just eat that for my meals. It hasnt been extremely easy, but I've been doing it.

Thanks for the advice! I haven't thrown up yet. I ate eggs, pudding, pureed roast and corn, and pudding and cottage cheese and haven't gotten sick at all. I dunno. I'm hoping it never happens. But I'm sure it will.

I lost 19.5 lbs so far already so I'm excited!

Hope you have a great weekend girl!!!! xoxoxox

    Thanks for the add!

So today was my 1st follow up appointment and they progressed me to phase 2 pureed foods. I had 1 egg scrambled and it was nice to eat something for once.

Have you had any problems keeping food down? and about how long after you eat does it come back up if it's going to?

I know that sounds silly or gross but I really don't know what to anticipate.
