I know some times i need time away from him but enough is enough!!! LOL

I've been doing research on WLS for about a year now. I finally decided to have it and I asked my family doc to refer me and that was in Apirl. I had my consult in beginning of May and Tricare approved a week later and I was going to have surgery last week in May but my husband couldn't get time off till late June. Yes, my surgery is on the 27th. At Ft. Sill you don't have an on post doctor so that might be y it moved along faster than most places.
That really sucks to only have a year between deployments, but sometimes I wish it were like that with us, LOL Everything has its pros and cons.

My hubby has been in for 5 1/2 years. we only get about a year between deployments. I have hot had my surgery yet. Tripler (MTF) requires you go thru a program it takes about a year or more depending on how fast you change your lifestyle. It sucks but I guess it will all be worth it in the end. you are having your surgery at the end of the month right? how long from start to finish for you? I think tripler is the only hospital that has the program.

Yikes! Deployment #3? I know that sucks! I have only survived one deployment with my hubby but he just finished his third one in September. Thank God its over, well for now. He is undeployable while here at Ft. Sill but nothing lasts forever. My hubby has been in for ten years and is lookin to stay in for as long as he can pretty much! He's nuts! LOL I really wanna go back home to WA but thats just because I am a wussy!lol When is your surgery or have you already had it? ps. you kids are beautiful!

We have been here for 2 1/2 years. my hubby has volenteered to stay fo another 3 years. so in total we will be here 6 years. its wonderful. the only bad part is that it cost a fortune to fly anywhere. I want to go to Germany but he refuses to to reinlist he wants out. I dont blame him for that he is getting ready for deployment #3.

We are in Ft. Sill, OK. Its okay here, beats the rain of my home state of rainy Washington! LOL Hawaii? WOW! That must be GREAT! How long will you be there for in total? I would love to live there but not for more than two years. Its just that I see it more as a vacation spot rather than a place to live. Never been though so I guess I can't really say for sure, lol
