Ahhhh, the "bad dreams" are pretty normal. I had all kinds of them especially before my plastic surgery. Yes, I think your gifts have certainly brought a much needed calm and happiness to the forum. Thank you so much for sharing yourself with all of us. You're already "paying it forward" and watching you has certainly brought a smile to my face.

When those nerves start getting to you pull up your list of goals and read them to yourself. I remember when you shared your wonderful goals with me and they were so inspiring!! They really were. You'll be close in my thoughts, sweet lady.

You're totally right. I started this for me, for a healing calming spirit when I needed it and for others to have a nice gift, but I noticed yesterday that life is so much more peaceful on the forum with all these beautiful signatures. It brought tears to my eyes thinking about it. My nerves are holding out okay. I still have 10 sedatives and I'm trying to save them for next week when I'm afraid it might get worse, shaking a bit each day and 2 bad dreams, but I'm so ready for this life change, that I'm handling it well I'm so glad you love your siggie. I loved making it for you!

I'm glad to hear you think your ulcer is getting better, Jo. I'll be thinking about you tomorrow. Let me know what they have to say. Potential surgery dates have changed so many times for you. No wonder your nerves are going crazy! Take some deep breathes sweetheart and I'll make sure there are positive thoughts coming your way.

I think my ulcer is almost gone. I'm glad too, cause eating helps the nausea go away. Feel like it's impeding my weightloss even tho I'm making good choices. I have a meeting tomorrow to determine when my date will be. I'm scared. If it's not in the next 2 weeks, I just don't know how I can hang on. I'm shaking all the time my nervous system is in so much trouble.

Hi Jo, the ulcer is still acting up but it seems to slowly be getting better. Some days seem to be better than others. My doctor had to take me off one of the ulcer medications so I'm kind of worried it will slow down the healing. So how are you feeling? Any more news on when this surgery is going to finally happen?

I bet you do miss your family. Well my Dutch roots are pretty strong. All of my Grandparents or Great Grandparents came from the Netherlands. My maiden name is Van Lopik. So you can't get much more Dutch than that. *L* I don't blame you for not wanting to get your hopes up. I didn't believe it was going to happen until I had that date. When you get that date make sure you let me know.

Yes, it should be the beginning of September, but they've been saying that it'll be soon for months so I'm not getting my hopes up til they call and say "be here at this time on this day" hehe.. I'm a transplant.. born and raised in Arkansas.. I love it here but I miss my family very much. What are your Dutch roots?
