Ah, a hernia, I never considered that. And here it's something I'm always so concerned about that I wear compression shorts 24/7. Where is my mind these days? Hope you have a great holiday weekend. If you have some time to chat, send me a PM and I'll make sure I have my time free. We have a lot of catching up to do!
My one year anniversary is coming up on May 18 and I have just added a new album under my profile pebitpeb, "My Journey". I have photos taken over the past 5 years of my life and if you click on any photo there is a caption attached.
It is hard to believe that only one year ago I was preparring to go into a hospital in Pisa, Italy and receive an operation that would give me a wonderful new life. Getting the surgery had become something that I had given up on when still living in the USA, however when I moved to Italy 2 years ago, it became attainable. Who would have ever thought living in Italy and having gastric bypass, abdominoplasty and getting my hip replaced all in 1year. It really is appropriate though as moving to Italy, new language, new culture, new experiences, new person and a terrific new life.
I give thanks for the support I have received here and look forward to continuing this journey as part of this great TT family.
Beth i gotta tell you girl i just was looking at our TT pics and they look SO painful but i'm glad to see them because i'm concerned when i loose my weight my i know i'll need one and that is really inspirational to see

Then the following week I have my pre-op appointment with my plastic surgeon the day before my surgery. So this is REALLY going to be happening and it sounds as if the 21st is still...
