hi beth, i made it thru surgery tuesday fine. i was somewhat nervous while i was there before they took me back but they apparently knew this cause they were kinda sneaky bout puttin my meds. in iv's wt.out tellin me before they rolled me down the hall. i can just barely even remember wavin bye to my family and only sure i did cause they said i did. those anesthesia people are pretty darn sharp!!!so yeah everything went real well and i got to come home the very day later in the evenin. everythings goin good at home now. my hardest time was yesterday and last night cause of plumbin not workin just right cause of so little food, if ya know what i mean. i thought i'd die! but finally after bout six hours everything started workin normal again and wow what a relief!!! any suggestions you might have on that would be greatly appreciated. it's so amazin to not be hungry all the time now! actually before today it was even hard to tell the difference between bein hungry and the actual pain that i still have from surgery. the way i know now is i just finally get a major growl and then i know it's time to eat. almost like clockwork. i'm only able to hold bout two ounces at each meal and am just as content as if i'd eaten a big mac!!! now that the pains are beginnin to be less, i'm really able to appreciate havin had this surgery. i look so forward to sittin on the loser's bench wt. you!!! thank you so much beth for all your thoughts and kind words!!! i'll keep in touch and you do the same! ttys~tammy!!!
Awww, thanks Milady! I'm doing well, I've jst been traveling a lot for work and family. In the last week I've driven 1000 miles, been to a wedding, a funeral, and a bunch of meetings. I'm just glad that while I didn't lose any weight this week, I didn't gain either. Now it's time to get my butt back into gear. How's life up in Michigan?

Well, quite the whirlwind week of vacation. Walked a ton, didn't lose any weight, fit on all the rides, relaxed...and then...back to work. Like hitting a wall at 100mph. Had worked assigned to me even though people knew I was out. So, busy as all get out the first 3 days back doing two jobs. I need another vacation...
And, I'm actually taking one! My Navy son is graduating from his Helicopter Aircrew School in mid-August, so back to San Diego for another 4 days. Love going there, he's on Coronada Island and the hotel is on the base and right on the beach. And best part, it's cheap.
Well the fact that I will be having my plastic surgery in just 2 short weeks is starting to sink in. I just got a call from the hospital to pre-register me plus I've started to do all my little pre-op duties. My lab work is now drawn, next week it is my EKG, my surgery clearance appointment with my PCP and mammogram. Then the following week I have my pre-op appointment with my plastic surgeon the day before my surgery. So this is REALLY going to be happening and it sounds as if the 21st is still...
