Yay! Its so nice to have so many great people to talk to who share our experience. Its hard to talk about some of the things we go through with people that have not been through it themselves!! Its so great to meet you, and you are doing Fantastic!!!

Kat, you are kicking but! I'm so annoyed with this stall! Not only are you going to catch me, you'll be flying past me! That sucks that you really don't have a taste for anything. I wish I was like that. I still love food more than ever, and still have to control my head hunger. People are right, this surgery is not just an easy fix, it is definitely still hard work. The only difference I've noticed is that everything is super sweet to me which I hate. I have to water down drinks like crazy!

Kat, you've reaffirmed the fact that I will be going to the Y every day this upcoming week! Plus the fact that at the end of the month, we are no longer getting military discount, so I will be paying full price, which sucks! Needless to say, I am taking advantage of the last few weeks of my discount! Catch me if you can! Should be easy, I didn't move at all today!

That's awesome! I've got my smaller size jeans all ready to go. I've tried them on a couple different times, but no go. I"m gonna be one of those people who has to lose a million pounds before I change sizes! But the jeans I have now I can take off without unzippering them, so I have no idea what to do! I am definitly in a stall-haven't lost an oz in the past 2 days, NOT 1 OZ!!! Ugh!

Ugh, My scale didn't move this morning, so now's your chance to catch me!!! I've got cramps and am so tired, so don't even think I'm gonna work out today. We'll see! Maybe I'll get enough energy to take a walk tonight. But I was so excited because I was watching the Biggest Loser last night and realized that I am now smaller than Tara was when she started! I don't know if you watch, but she is kick ass! She has lost a lot and wins everything! Now, if I could only work out 6 hours a day like they do!

Hi, thank you so much for the friend request. So I see you are pretty early postop? How are things going for you? The start of this journey can be pretty bumpy. Not only all of the physical challenges but the emotional ones too. So please know that one of the reasons I am on this forum is to be a support to others. I know how important it is to not travel this journey alone. So, welcome and feel free to grab me any time with a question or if you just need an ear. BTW, just saw that you are originally from Rockford. Just down the road from me. If you ever find yourself back home, let me know. It would be nice to meet.

I seen that too. When did you have your surgery? Im a little over 2 weeks post op. Im on pureed still, Im really having a hard time on finding things to eat, so I have been sticking to the protein shakes, Ive tried tomatoe soup with melted low fat cheese but its getting a little old. I tried the scrambled eggs but it didnt go so well.
