Hey Maggie, just checking on you....have you made any kind of decision yet? How is everything going?

hi yes ... we sh ould def keep i touch i really havent met many people on here... but im nervous as ever and i have my first class today im very nervous lol...we can walk through the process together =p

Those awkward moments wont last long and before you know it you will be so open! My boss knows and he is one of my biggest cheerleaders, which had lead me to tell the UPS guy, new hires, and the co-workers at my other job. Lol., its so funny how open I have become. Youll do just fine and remember if you ever need any support youve the board and me! =0)

I actually wanted to have the surgery earlier than I did but I chickened out. Im glad I waited, it was almost a year, because I think I was deff. more mentally prepared for everything. Ive been looking into bypass/lapband since I was about 18. I personally chose the bypass over the lapband because with my eating habits and the type of person I am (all or nothing) it worked better for me. If I had to do it again tomorrow, I would be at the hospital in a heart beat with a smile on my face! Have you chose a surgery yet?

surgery went well , no complications , the only real pain is from the compressed air that they pump u with , thats bloody sore ouch !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Had surgery at 10am and was discharged at 6pm
I have asthma and my chest been quite tight & wheezy , but just took some steriods so hoping it eases off .
