Hey Mags. Sounds like you're doing great to me! I would say the calories are a little low though - at this stage you should be aiming for about 800 I think. It's important to get enough calories in so that your body doesn't go into starvation mode. And it will only result in ending up sick (don't want that that's for sure huh!).

Bet this whole thing is really exciting for you - I would love to be back at 1/2 months post op sometimes - much easier to control your eating! One little bit of advice for you - definitely work on the right habits now because 12 months down the line you'll be able to eat like a horse again and you want it to be the right stuff ;o)

Hiya Sheree, I'm 25lbs down but got my 'you know whats' at the moment so we shall see where I stand next week. Am trying so hard with the fluid but so difficult but mustn't grumble and all for the greater good!! Do you have any idea how many calories I should be taking in at this stage? I reckon I'm taking in on average 400 - 600 a day. Cheers chick!

Mmm, wish I could have tomato and basil soup but unfortunately the sugar content in anything tomato based is too high for me - I am a dumper!

Glad to hear that you are doing well. Try not to be afraid to eat - your body can't loose unless you do. And remember to keep those fluids coming in - you don't want to end up with kidney stones!

How's the weight loss going for you?

Hi there Sheree, thanks for the note! I'm doing Ok thanks - still a few problems with being sick and still some minor spasms although so much better each week. I almost got to the stage of fearing food and not eating as I thought each time it would make me ill and I never had hunger pangs. But I've had to force myself to eat and on a regular basis as I appreciate starving won't help me! Thankfully have now started to get hunger pangs which I didn't have before but thankfully have not for a second (yet) wanted anything naughty. Tomato and Basil soup has been my saviour! Weight coming off albeit slowly (25lbs) but I was never a volume eater so kind of guessed it wouldn't just drop off :-((. Heyho all good really and just still getting used to the new internal set up! How are you doing??
