I'm doing pretty good, how about you? I think you're doing great so far and seem to have yourself in cheque
I'm still having issues with the protein and have pretty much resigned myself to just drinking water. I am having issues with protein and hope that I finally get to see my surgeon this week. I'll hopefully learn that I've lost some weight...hope I do as well as you have! Keep in touch--I'm so happy for your changes so far, girlfriend! -

Yes, we're rebels! *evil laugh* I just don't get why people get so uppity and snobbish when it comes to this surgery. They're not the supreme authority when it comes to bariatric surgery. Unless I didn't get that memo when I joined the group.

Pre-op I was a slave to pizza. I would order 35 dollars worth of Papa Johns at least once (sometimes twice) per week and enjoy it by myself in shame. I would drink a 2 liter of Diet Coke while at it. I didn't care what it cost me, money wise, or fat thigh wise.
Now, almost 3 weeks post op, I find it difficult to watch pizza commercials and walk by pizza resturants. I'm doing pretty good, though. I deleted my boyfriend, Papa John, out of my phone.

I've always loved shoes. Whoever says they're for all sizes is not overweight though. I have experienced some mega fat foot in those cute little ballet flats.
Well today I went to the JC Penny Outlet store and found that I went down a size in shoes. I was able to wear pretty much every shoe I tried on. I ended up buying 13 pair - eeek! However, it was an OUTLET store, so stop glaring at me.
On another note, I had some salmon tonight. It was delicious and sooo satisfying....

So yesterday I was busy purchasing my new little Eclipse from a friend, but I'm still too pudgy to drive it, so I had my mom drive it.
I agreed to drive the Yukon home. Usually I have to move the seat back and adjust the steering wheel allllll the way up so I can fit in the seat.
Well, without thinking about it, I just hopped into the car and did not have to adjust! I was so excited.

I am approved through insurance. Did you hear me? I'M APPROVED FOR MY SURGERY. Yippie!
I got everything done within 3-4 weeks which was super quick. I now just have to get my surgery date when my Patient Advocate calls me. Hopefully it will be sooner than later as I'm getting antsy.
On another note, I have been crafting crafting crafting today. I participated in a swap on Craftster called Sea Life Swap. I foresee my crafting becoming more of a hobby once I lose weight...
