I didn't get the position......something about not having enough management experience.
This gives me time to continue to work and create this dream of having hospice homes for children. I am seeing hat the vision is beyond what I have started with one hospice. I now am getting together what is needed to create a charitable organization. In the meantime, I will continue with the current project while the rest unfolds.

I had the 2nd interview for a manager position at work yesterday. Cross your legs (now that you can do it!) and wish me luck!

And I decided to rearrange the furniture in my house. I also installed a new ceiling fan. Hmmm...what else can I do....I'm getting ready for our community yard sale on October 6th that is also a fund raising event. More to come on that.

Tonight I met up with some old co-workers. We went to Claim Jumpers in Carlsbad. I was pretty hesitant about eating there. The last time I was a claim jumpers 3.5 years ago, I choked on a dry, over cooked pieces of chicken. I was only 3 or 4 weeks post op then. The menu has changed...I had the Jamaican Sweet Potato Chicken. It's a HUGE sweet potato stuffed with jerk chicken, green onions, red peppers, and tomatoes. Very good and will last me 3 meals!
