I've been doing good....been really busy as well like I said...That is sooo awesome! (74# I mean) I don't really know how much I've lost, it's been a little while since I last weighed...so I'll find out soon when I think about it I'll walk over to the clinic on post and ask to weigh myself...

Glad you're okay now. Julie has not been answering her phone at all. Many people have been calling her over the past few days and haven't gotten through. I'm thinking her phone needs to be charged or she's out of minutes.

No problem, she is home now. Are you feeling okay?

Any more on Julie? I haven't heard anything in days and I'm starting to get a little worried...

Remember me Linda Kay? I'm Dewey's wife (agodewey, otherwise known as Jon). I havn't been active on thinner times but I know Jon has and thought you would like to know how he is doing Since he had his surgery yesterday.

Well, what started as a two hour laproscopic proceture ended up a seven hour open procedure with complications. He had "adheasions" in his intestines which caused his procedure to be open.
He is doing well, but much more tired, and sore than he expected. Dr. Callery said that his surgery was "a version of normal" though not commom, in the open form of the surgery.
This was way more than expected for all, especially his sister and I because there was poor communication through the surgical concierge at Sharp and we were very worried because the surgery took so long.
Dr. Callery said he could go home tomorrow evening. Isn't that a bit soon after such a long surgery? Please let me know if you have any idea.

Better +each day...there's still a huge air bubble (I'm guessing) that's trapped in there and won't release or something. I'm still popping pain pills every once in a while. I went to the doc and there really isn't much else that can be done at this point except to wait it out. I'm just like...grrreeeaatttt....But I'm ok for the most part...I don't let it stop me from doing stuff...I got stuff to do man...lol....
