The Navy is pretty strict about the process and it is a minimum of 5 months. I am hoping sometime in the fall, but no date set yet. I am just glad the process has finally started.

I have a work out class with my fitness specialist (she is part of the program at the hospital) every Wednesday where we do cardio and strength training. Then I go to the gym as well where I spend most of my time on the treadmill doing anywhere from 4 to 6 miles. Although, I kinda slacked on the gym the last week. =0\

We do look good, don't we? LOL! Thanks so much for the nice comments. I love this website because I use it to track my whole journey. Sometimes it really does help to go back and read stuff I've written or look at those pics. I hardly recognize myself in the mirror, but then I look at my album here and don't recognize myself there, either, LOL. It is pretty amazing. I like your photos, too, especially the one where your daughter copied your hair color, LOL! That's really sweet and you both look great!!

Hi Cathy, My puter's broken so not been on for ages - just sneaking on hubby's while he's at work and wanted to say hi. How is it going? I didn't lose a single pound last week so made hubby hide the scales til this week's weigh-in (this morning) and thankfully I'd lost 3lb, really thought it was gonna be the start of my first plateau! I was really excited to see you've lost exactly the same as me, I know we shouldn't compare ourselves to others too much but as we had our surgeries so close it helps me know I'm kinda on track if I'm around the same mark as you!

i lost 10 pounds on the 2 week pre op diet and i lost 11 pounds in the week since surgery. so 21 pounds in the last 3 weeks...!! i thought that was pretty good and my doctor seemed happy with the 11 in a week he brought up to me that i lost more 10% of what i want to lose in total. so i thought that was cool
i know it slows down but those double digits made me feel like i was on The Biggest Loser LOLOLOL
