    Hey again girl,
Ok so my 3 month mark was on August 1st and i am down 65 lbs. Although the past 10 days or so........i am in a STALLLLLLL !!!! God i hate them. Its like a little panic voice comes into brain and says....ok...you're done lol But I know better. (most of the time...lol)
I feel especially good, building up alittle bit of confidence....which is a foreign concept to me...and i think maybe thats some of where the boyfriend stuff is coming from. Hopefully its a phase...and a very short one too!! lol
I am also in shock that before I know it, the summer is gonna be over!!
    it is going tooooo fast

I don't know about the MELTING part of this weight loss journey...but yep, I'm still continuing to lose. So far I haven't experienced a stall...but like I mentioned before it's just a matter of time before I have to "kicked things into high gear". I continue to go to the gym 3 times a week (I hate going, but LOVE having done it).

Has your family been supportive? Sure hope so! My hubby has been a little "dense" lately. I swear he's been bringing crap into the house just to "tempt" me (no he isn't really doing that, but it feels like it!). Went to Costco to pick up my standby staple (Fage Greek Yogurt)...and he picked up a HUGE variety pack of ice cream sandwiches/cones. But he knows to put them into the 2nd freezer. Hubby and I went to the movies last night and he didn't realize that I couldn't (well...more like WOULDN'T) eat the buttered pop-corn. He's like "You can't have pop-corn?". Knowing my hubby (and it's been 29 years together) I do not think he is sabotaging me...he's just clueless! But I love him anyway...

Tell me more about your journey since WLS!

    Michele,

Glad you were not offended by my "I vote...INSANE" comment! Like you said...you might be crazy...but not insane...totally understand where you're coming from. And glad I made you laugh, once you knew I was J-O-K-I-N-G!! LOL

Ah, Michele, I'm so happy for you! I know that losing just the weight that I have so far has really, truly changed my out-look towards people and life in general. I was talking to a co-worker and asking "what's changed"...me or the other people and she stated that she has seen a major difference in how I deal/interact with others, therefore they are responding in kind. Even when you go down to losing in the single digits...your body is still changing dramatically! I'm 17 weeks out and have not yet had the "stall" that so many others have experienced...I know it will happen (but I don't have to like it!)...but until then I continue to enjoy my new life-style! Hope you have the same experience that I've had in the weight loss journey arena!

i lost 10 pounds on the 2 week pre op diet and i lost 11 pounds in the week since surgery. so 21 pounds in the last 3 weeks...!! i thought that was pretty good and my doctor seemed happy with the 11 in a week he brought up to me that i lost more 10% of what i want to lose in total. so i thought that was cool
i know it slows down but those double digits made me feel like i was on The Biggest Loser LOLOLOL

Glad to hear you didn't become an emotional wreck, so to speak. I figured my hormones were so out of whack prior to surgery that my body (or myself) didn't notice a difference! How much have you lost so far?

    Congrats, Michele!
I have to admit this surgery is amazing, isn't it?! Allows us to be able to accomplish what we need to do AND see results (weight-loss)! Are you just breezing through the so called "hell week"? Each of us are so individual...I for one had NO issues with my hormones going whacko...but others have.

Keep me posted on your progress!
