I just mentioned it to my friend once. I asked her if she ever thought about it and she was like "no I haven't". I didn't push it, but I know the weight is a major issue for her. She has gained a lot since her mom was sick with cancer over the last 10 years and never dates or anything, so I feel bad for her.
Hopefully my success will encourage her. My other overweight friend seems like she will be really negative to be around. She told me she will send me a box of chocolates after the surgery- cute, huh?! She is a very jealous person and does not like to see others succeed. I think I'll be cutting all ties with her soon!!

Hang in there with the liquid diet- hopefully the nutritionist is right about the 1st 3 days. You are already through day 2 and you can do it!!!!!

Yeahhh, I hope I can get her to go into the doctors. She has to first set up an apt with her PCP but she's scared! I think she's just embarrassed to talk to the doctors about her weight but I told her that's what they're there for, ya know? I talked to her mom about it too and she's like 'Just keep pushing her...' so we are both asking her all the time. I don't wanna force her to do it. But, I know deep down she wants it too. Maybe after she sees me succeeding she will want it more. I hope so. I just think it would be so good for her.

ANYWAYS... I started the pre-op diet today and giiiirl. Let me tell you, it is BAD. Yesterday was fine. I wasn't hungry at all but today... I'm SOOO hungry. I'm counting the minutes til my next glass of milk. Ugh. Altho my nut said the first 3 days are the worst.. and once you get through those it's not so bad. *crosses fingers*

Ooooh, pasta is pretty delicious!!! We went out for Indian food with my friends then we went to this little cafe that has amazing cakes and got desert there. It was phenomenal. Then we went to this local comedy club. It was a blast. Glad I got to do it. :0)
That's aweeeesome that your brother is getting it around the same time. You can be each others support. I almost wish I had someone here who was getting it. My friend was supposed to be doing it with me, but, she's taking forever. I told her like months ago to get on it or I'd have my surg date before she even had her first appointment and that's totally what's happened. lol. She will get to it in her own time I guess!

Blah, I know what you mean about just wanting to be home, relaxing. I get that way all the time and I'm only 22. It's normal. ;0) Anyway dear, I hope all is well with you! :0)

I know right?? I was like wooooow. Okay then. haha. I seriously had NO idea. Had I known I was stealing her 'baby' (as she stated) I would never have done that. I guess wherever you go, there will alllllways be people like that! Whatev... haha.
Anyway, it's going good!! I'm going out tonight for my 'Final Feast' with some friends and I start my pre-op diet on monday. Nervous, excited... ahh! How are you doin?? :0)
