Hi, my name is Casey and I am 22 yrs old from Maine. I was looking for people my age group on here to talk to, I am in the beginning phase of the journey to WLS. You look great!!!

115!!! That's amazing, go you! I have not had surgery yet, but will be having the bypass. I've been dealing with insurance since beginning of December, and now waiting on an answer as to if they're going to cover it or not after recieving a Letter of Support from my OB and 2 years medical history. I'm extremely anxious, but in a good way! If insurance doesn't cover it I will still be having it done which makes waiting on them so much more frustrating!!

How was your whole experience with insurance? What was the worse part about the procedure? Sorry about all the questions, my mom is nervous and I figure if i get answers, she'll be more at peace about the whole thing although my doctor basically gave me the choice of this or a hysterectomy... which is NOT an option!

Thank you for the compliment...I feel amazing! I swear, it's insane isn't it? The change in your body so quickly!? It's been almost a year, my surgaversary is coming up (YAY)...I've lost 96 pounds, and hopefully not anymore! I never thought I'd ever say I hope I don't lose anymore weight lol But I am about 125 pounds and think that I am a perfect weight, might even be good for me to gain a pound or 5 lol (definately never thought I'd need to put weight on!)
Well, 110 pounds is amazing...keep it up! You look HOT HOT HOT!

Hey there Katie! Just wanted to say that wow...you look amazing in ur pics! How much have you lost so far? And when was ur surgery?

I think I'm gonna go down the RNY path. I just made some initial appointments with my physicians and a psychologist to start the process. Still nervous and timid about all this. I think it's more that I'm scared for social reasons...but how stupid is that, right? I'll be healthy, I'll be skinnier. I might have some awkward "oh, you had surgery..." moments but in the end I'LL BE HAPPY.
