Well hey there! I was at Dr. Chu's office today. Surgery's Monday, I'm so excited, she's taking out my gall bladder too. How is it going for you? You must be able to eat at least pureed foods by now. Are you hungry, better yet...does being around cajun food make you drool, lol!

I am born and raised in New Orleans and moved to Lafayette after Katrina. I had my GBP surgery from Dr. Chu on 12/29/08. I agree that it is difficult with food choices in our neck of the woods. Keep in touch and I may see you at Dr. Chu's office or support group.
