Hi Julia,

We are both going to go in on June 9th! I am very excited to get this thing rolling. I am 55 years old though and I am afraid that I won't bounce back after surgery like I did when I was younger. My surgeon is actually a surgeon in the office that I work in. It will be weird to know that he will see me naked. I should not worry about stuff like that but I guess I do. I have not had to go through as many hoops because I am self pay. I kept waiting for my insurance company to pay for gastric by-pass but I'm ready to not wait any more. I am planning on taking 2 weeks off of work after surgery . My doctor said that he thought I could do it. If I need to go back part time for another week or two I can do that no problems. I guess I am worrying about this thing. How about you? Becky, I will be skinny at 55

Hi Julia, have you heard anything from your doctor? I tried calling t5he insurance co but was closed again by the time I had a chance to call.

I just realized, I knew 2 Julia's @ GEICO. So I may have confused you with the other post. Either you are Julia that i went to high school with or Julia that always made me laugh cause I took GEICO too seriously. Either way I definately remember you and cant wait to catch up and answer any questions that you might have.
