Hey Rachal, long time no chat! I am doing absolutely great now. No side effects, down 82 lbs and just 35 to go! You like my mustang, so do I, its a 1965 and just bought it a month ago, we drove down to oregon to get. Here's the down part, its actually my son's first car and he isnt even 16 yet! He gets the garage, my car gets teh driveway, lol. So how is post surgery treating you? Hang in there, it only gets better, its good to hear from you again. Take care - Jules
Hi Rachal,
Glad to hear your surgery is over and your home again. Its been almost 6 weeks now for me, down a total of 53 lbs. I had one bug after another so exercising has been difficult and the weight loss is starting to slow down without exercise. But its going well. The soreness and being tired will last a while, i still have both myself, but each week it seems to be a little less. I still struggle with soft solids and have to keep going back to liquids to keep anything down, but that too will pass the doctor says. You just take it one day at a time and you will look and feel great before u know it. I am already seeing that at 6 weeks post surgery!
Hey Jules!
WOW 51 lbs! That is so awesome! I'm doing good...sore and a little tired but you know...glad to be home now and can get on with this...lol
Thanks for thinking of me XOXO How are you doing?
i just wanted to wish u all the best for tomorrow, its worth it! I am eating soft solids now and down 51 lbs so far. Doctor says i am doing great. I saw a photo of me taken over the weekend and I got emotional because i couldnt believe that was me in the picture. Now its your turn, all your TT friends will be thinking of u!
Rachal, thanks for the kewl graphic! Well, things are going pretty good i think. I am losing 2 pounds a day and down a total of 36 pounds so far. Still on liquid protein drinks until I see the doctor again next week. I do not get hunger pains, but I do wish i could chew a solid, lol. A bit tough seeing my family dig in a dinner and I cant, lol, but like i said, no hunger pains, just some lingering mental anguish, haha. My family can see the weight dropping and are really happy with my decision (funny they didnt think that 2 weeks ago, lol). Feeling good and its only going to keep getting better. Not than long till its your turn!!!!
OH Jules! I'm sorry to hear about your complications but very glad to see you're home and doing well! I was praying for you buddy! Take care of yourself and take as much time as you need to recover. Make sure you get up and move around the house a little...don't want any nasty clots forming there...keep my updated ok?
