Tell me about it! I also forgot to answer your other question. I'm having the surgery on the economy by an excellent surgeon, and it's done laproscopically. YAY!

Yea we did miss it. Was kinda upset about it at first. but not much I can do about it so I was like eh whatever...lol
Ha Ha yeah mine don't know what its like to be overweight either. He is one of those that can eat and eat and eat and not gain a pound. Even when he drove truck before he joined he never exercised or anything and still was scrawny. He finally looks healthy at least thanks to basic training...LOL
I am glad he will be there for your sugery then. Leave it to the Army to make it a close call though...LOL

Oh man! You guys just missed the cut off date for 12 month deployments. As of Aug 1st, deployments are down to 12 months instead of 15. That sucks! But you're right, it's a great time to work on you. Physically and mentally. My hubby is on TDY till the 22nd of Aug in Italy, I miss him but at the same it's given me time to think about going through this working through the reasons I do the things I do to myself (self-destructively, i.e., binge eating, sweet eating). He doesn't understand why I do it, hell I don't either but he doesn't know what it means to have a messed up childhood or be overweight (well except for being like 7 lbs over according to Army standards....)
Man, I just kinda went off on a tangent didn't I?
Oh yeah, that's one thing I don't miss is those hot ass Texas summers. You know, the ones from Feb-Nov....LOL!
It's hot over here, but not as hot BUT we don't have air conditioning over here. CRAZY! We had to break down and buy a small unit for our bedroom to be able to sleep at night. Well...I think I've rambled on enough...have a good weekend!

Yes he is again. He just left in June for 15 months. And we got screwed with an early r&r. So he will be home soon for that. Deployments blow but I take the time to work on me...LOL
Yeah I am so ready for some snow...LOL these triple digit temps can go away. I am a MN girl so the snow wouldn't bother me...LOL And for us CO would be closer drive home then the 18 1/2 hr one we have now...LOL But as always army needs first..lol

Almost time for the big day. Are you getting it done at the army hospital or a civillian one?
I was lucky to be able to go off post to get it done. I think if I would have had to get it on post I would never have gotten it..lol the hospital here sucks plus they still do open.

Oh dang that sucks! Is he still over there now? Mine is prolly going in '09..Jan-Feb sometime...ugh!
My uncle lives in Colorado (ret. AF) and works as a civilian for the AF, he's ready to come back to Texas (that's where the rest of the family is) and he's sick of snow..lol
I'm scheduled to have mine August 28th.
Have a good one as well!

Yeah we don't mind the Austin area when we get a chance to do stuff...lol I would love to go to Germany. But we passed it up (kicking myself now) since it cost to much to move the dogs. So when he reenlisted he took the stabelization for schooling and then still ended up getting deployed. So we are hoping when he gets back that he will come down on orders to move anywhere just out of here. I want change. I wouldn't mind going to Colorando Springs either..lol
I had my surgery Apr 22. How about you? have a good one
