got my new surgery date, 30th November.

I'm so heartbroken for you. I'm just speechless. The incompetancy... I just... I'm so upset. How could they do this to you... again.. sent home.. just like me. Oh dear Hyacinth. I am so sorry. I just know this has to be for a good reason. It will be okay. It just has to.

Dear Josphine, I've been sent home from the hospital. They said they can hear wheezing. Also I was taking a blood thinning drug that should have been stopped 2 weeks prior to surgery. No one reminded me. My assessment was on the 3rd July, wiht everything that's happened, how was I to remember that. I was not given a prep sheet or anything to remind me and they didn't update me when they gave me my date. So I'm looking at this time next month.

Go figure. What a ride.

You got it in one. I feel bad, but not so bad that i can't say a big YAY! for you. OMD's, you're having the sleeve to, YAY. I think its probably going to be the best for you as it's a restrictive surgery - no foreign objects inside of you, no issues of with absorbing the good stuff. So the good news is, we'll be having the same surgery! share our experiences - and make this journey together. I'm so please for you, hopefully, i'll be joining you soon on the losers bench. OH MAN!!!! Ugh!!! I was hoping you'd say you'd been rescheduled for the same day as me or something. I'm so sorry I hope it happens soon for you. I feel sick to my stomach now hearing this. :'( I talked to my surgeon today and we decided on the VSG and I couldn't wait to let you know, but now I feel so bad for you. How can they not give you any notice?? You've had something to eat already today anway, those people don't make any sense.

OH MY God!! I just got a call from the hospital telling me that they have a cancellation, and would I like to come in today. I had to pass it up because I look after my 18month grand daughter, (which I told them this before). I need notice. So I say's - everything good for next week. Here this, NO! she says, the surgeon has decided he will not be operating on that date. So, when? It will be in October is the best I can get. She was very defensive. She called me on the back of getting other bad news, my tax bill, I don't know how I'm going to pay it.

Can you believe it. Oh I do hope you get your date soon, but i'm sure its going to be in Oct. Either way, whether you go before, at the same time or after me, i'll email you and keep you up to date with my progress. SCREAM!!!!! lol.

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!! 6 October is my sisters birthday wooooot! They told me that they're trying to plan me for the 2nd of October but they'll call sometime this week to confirm. If all goes well, I'll be sent home on the 4th or 5th and can still be your person!
