I didn't realize it has been so long since I had been to the site, I guess life has caught up with me. I have now lost 85 pounds and I am 9 months post op. I can't believe I can wear a size 10 jeans, my husband held them up for me to try on and I said they are so small but they fit. I started at a size 20 so this is a huge accomplishment for me. My first goal is to hit the 100 pound weight loss mark. It is still so strange for me to have success at weight loss, I have been a failure with it for...

Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine myself being 60 pounds less. It is amazing to be able to cross my legs and buy clothing in the regular stores. I started at a size 20 and I am now a size 14. I hit the 50 pound mark yesterday!! This is the first time in 8 years I have ben under 200 pounds and I feel wonderful. I am 8 weeks post op and the weight is coming off consistently. I thought it was fine using a belt to hold up my pants and my now over sized shirts. I was hesitant to buy anything because I don't plan...

Today is my 8 weeks post op. I am down a total of 48 pounds. It is amazing how good I feel. I was putting on some make-up the other day and had an Ah ha moment. I now have cheek bones, it has been 10 years since I had cheek bones. It is almost scary how different my face looks with the weight loss. My 16 year old son told me the other day that I almost don't look like his mom anymore. I think this was upsetting to him in a strange sort of way. He has always seen me over weight. I guess I didn't...

Today was my 30 day anniversary since my surgery. I am happy to report I am back to having more energy and over all feeling good. I feel very blessed to have had no complications from the surgery. I lost 17 pounds this month and I am excited to see what I can do once I am back to a normal exercise routine. For the last 2 weeks I have been doing water aerobics twice a week and nothing more because I have felt too tired. This week I am trying for 3 classes, I figure I will build it up little at a...
