Hey I read that you had the lapband only last week, congrats, I had mine on the 12th this month =) There's another site called lapbandtalk.com and you should try that out, it's got heaps more people with the band.

Hi Ididitforme - Good for you! I am about 3 months into my 6 month diet/nutrition evaluation. I am hoping to have a lap band procedure. Can you tell me why you chose the lap band and are you glad that is the way you went? I'm just trying to get as much info as I can. You site looks really nice with all the colors and such. I'll have to experiment with mine. I still don't know how wll this works, so everyday I try something different. I haven't lost very much weight. What did you do before your surgery to drop almost 40 pounds?

Hey how are you doing? I am actually feeling pretty well. My only complaint is I get very weak very fast if I am not constantly pumping some kind of nurishment into my body. I had my first bout with "dumping syndrome" today. I ate some pured beans and forgot and took a big drink of water with it and it was all down heel from there. I am sooo looking forwar to when I can eat real food again. Even if it is just a couple of bites of it. I have done really good and had NO carbonated drinks. That was a biggie for me. I go to the dr on Wednesday to see how much I have lost. I am excited and a little scared because I dont know what my expectations should be on my first weigh in. ANyway enough rambling from me. How are you doing? Did your surgery go well. How are you doing with your post op diet? WHich surgery did you have? I have the Rou-N-Y gastric bypass and all went pretty smooth. ANyway I hope to hear back from you and maybe we can get each other through this....:O) Jamie
