I ran to the library yesterday looking for a cook book for life after WLS, I’m only 1 week out and completely sick of my self-imposed limited diet choices. While I was there I picked up another book, you know the technical type sighting studies and containing definitions on weight loss surgery terms… blah blah blah… but it ended up being much much more than that to me. November 4, 2008 prep day. I was told to take the drano drink specifically at 11am the day before the surgery, I had started getting results by noon. I spent the day prepping for my surgery, actually reading a couple peoples 2 year journey on TT, looking at posts on what to bring to the hospital, what to have on hand when I got home etc. One of the people had a bad experience with a tummy tuck, I am not sure I am ever going to have enough courage to have one of those - hopefully I won't need...

Over the past couple of years I had been considering wls. As my 39th birthday approached I made a promise to myself that when I would hit 40 I would be thinner and healthier.
