Hello again peeps, I'm going to try and make this as brief as I can. You may be aware that I attended my first Renal appointment on Thursday 27th May, (Kidney appointment). It was a long, long wait before I got to see the doctor, you wouldn't believe I had an appointment. I arrived at 3pm and was not seen until 4. 40pm. JOkERS! there were loads of people there.
Anyway, I expected to hear that my kidneys had taken a bashing, yes already knew that, but since i was informed last...

Well, well, well, hey there old timers, lol.
Thanks for responding to my post, sometimes I feel like i'm on the outside looking in, that's strange cause I've been around here for over a year now. It's just that it does not take long if you step back - TT quickly gets a swoop of newbies, so when you start posting they don't really know you. I'm always looking out for the old faces, lol. That's not to say I don't value and welcome any newbies - (so if you're reading this please...

Ok here it is. As you know i'm about 10 weeks post op now. I have no regrets about my surgery actually really pleased that it went so well, I had very little pain and started to lose weight fairly quickly.
A few weeks after surgery I became constipatated, then I had sever acid reflux as I believe I couldn't pass any stools ( this was very common place for me). Then steadily I started having headaches/migraine every morning, feeling dizzy - (at the time I thought this was down...

Hi everyone.
I'm 2 months Post op. and was worried about my weight loss to date. However, yesterday I attended my first follow up appointment and was told that i'm doing really well. The stall was explained and confirmed what I already suspected. I was told that as I had the VSG I do not require regular blood checks as I do not have any malabsorbtion issue, that's cool. Oh and I also met a lady in the waiting room who was 8 months post op. who also had the VSG. She had lost 8 stones...

Well, well, well here I am 13 days post-op. There was a time I wondered whether I was ever going to get the chance to say that, but you guys know this.
I said 13 days post-op - I went into hospital pre-op at 122kg and today i'm down to 113.4kg. Although you're always reading of other peoples success with weightloss after surgery - I don't know why I didn't even apply that to myself. If it were not for my youngest daughter and my brother saying that I'd lost weight I'd have not...
