I lost around 170 lbs in a year from Feb 2007- Jan 2008. Since having the band removed I have put back about 75lbs. Its horrible. I hate feeling this way again. I've just posted a thread to ask advice actually as I have 2 weeks til my surgery but I have just found out I am 4/5 weeks pregnant. I really don't know what to do. I can't face not having the surgery but if I was to go ahead I may lose or cause damage to my baby. I feel like I am being tested beyond what I can cope with.

So when is yours happening Heather? It's altogther such an exciting and frightful time I think. The hair loss concerns me, but I guess I've been horrific looking with being overweight so I may aswell be a baldy!!

I guess the energy will come back for you, When I first had my band I was tired, just for the first month, but then as the weight came falling off I was able to do so much more, running up escalators on the underground and dancing in nightclubs for hours, it was great, and I really miss that

I'm having bypass on the 19th September. I'd previously had a gastric band, which worked really well for about 6 months, but then I started developing gallstones which made me very sick, I guess something in my brain clicked then that I was loosing loads because I was vomiting all the time, so i developed pretty extreme bulemia. not really reccomended as within another 6 months I collapsed whilst at my parent's home in France, was admitted to intensive care with dehydration and malnutrition and had to have the gallbladder and band removed as my stomach was in such a state.

This time I'm determined not to mess with the tool given to me, I'm really very keen to have this sorted for life! but I guess everyone says that beforehand.
