These are just some old photos that I've found on my computer's hard drive and also some that have been taken since my surgery in September 2007.

Since my incredible journey began 11 months ago, I have met a couple of fellow Brugge Babes, some of whom have now become friends, and I hope to meet many more and make many more friends. I have also been fortunate enough to meet a fellow Thinner Times Friend, and again hope to meet more of my cyberfriends. Then in August 2008, Dennis took me back to Brugge, where I had my surgery done, to celebrate reaching goal and for me to see the beautiful medieval city. Guess who I met up with?!

Just before my Gastric Bypass Surgery in September 2007, a kind lady called Maline sent me a "good luck" message through TT. We had the same surgeon, Dr Bruno Dillemans in Brugge, Belgium, and through this bond a friendship was forged. Maline, and her sweet husband Roy, very kindly invited me to visit them in Spain, and in July 2008 I went to them for a fabulous week in the sun and in their amazing company. For the first 3 days Maline & I chatted non-stop about all aspects of our surgery and thereafter got to know each other on other levels also. We had a fantastic time and I can't wait to visit them again!!!

On the 26th of September 2007, in Brugge (Bruges) Belgium, Dr Bruno Dillemans performed Gastric Bypass Surgery (Capella version of the RNY) on me - my pre-opp weight was 121.5kg/19st 2lb/268lb and 11 months later I have reached my personal goal of 80kg/12st 8lb/176lb which is a total weight loss of 41.5kg/6st 5lb/90lb - I now live a healthy and active life with my "Dillepouch" (there are two pages to this photo album and remember if you hover on a photo or double click on it to start a slideshow you will be able to see the progress in writing too)
