Hello! Don't worry about not keeping in touch...life is to be enjoyed!

Are you having pain? I'm not a doctor but I'm sure there is a major difference between a hernia and being lactose intolerant...hmmm. If you've stopped the milk products and are having pain still; then it wouldn't be a lactose intolerant issue. What suggestions did she give you?

Feel free to PM (private message) me if you don't want your issues publicized!

Happy Easter to you and your family too!

Long time, no see! Good to hear from you again. Things are going pretty dang well on my end...don't have the cravings for sweets, but those carbs go down way too easy!

What kind of a "hard time" are you having? Just trying to avoid all the goodies this time of year brings?

Beep, beep (sorry!) here's to you backing up out of your comfort zone!! I totally understand not wanting to leave your comfort zone...I've been going to the gym by myself, since my sister changed gyms. But I'm still going... and I'm still hating it! LOL My best-friend just had surgery yesterday (4-1-08) and I'm so excited for her.

Come on as often or as little as you feel the need...'cause life keeps moving along and keeps us all too busy!

    Hello goshera1!

I too am a patient of Dr. Machados...only 11 weeks post-op though. I personally can not wait to get under 200 lbs...and your weight of 170...ahhh....would be heaven! You mentioned in a post that this surgery doesn't make you "skinny"...so true! We still have to work at it...and I'm just working this honey-moon stage for all it's worth! Do you ever go to the support meetings?

    Take care!

    Cathy
