Hi, I've recently had open gastric bypass surgery... I feel like death- I'm thinking this is the worst decision I have ever made- I just can't seem to get the concept and I'm going crazy... I sign on here on the chat section and nobodys ever on. I just don't know... I saw a post from you saying this was the easiest surgery you've ever had and I thought maybe I could get some incite from you? Thanks, Mike

I've not logged on for about a week. Thanks so much for asking.. Initially, I didn't get a date because I only lost 2lbs and the nurse said she wasn't sure I was really committed. I was so disappointed. Then I called the nutritionist and went back in and tried harder. I lost 4lbs more and then got put on the schedule. May 13th! We're still waiting for insurance approval, which they say will not be a problem, but I had expected that quite some time ago, so I'm not allowing myself to forget it in case I get pushed to June. I am still working on losing more weight pre-op. Reading your post that you feel fabulous sure does relax my nerves. It's great to hear feedback like that. I wish you much continued success.
